Flagler Beach Welcomes You!
Our quaint barrier island is chock full of everything you could possibly need. You will definitely find friendly residents and welcoming merchants ready to serve you. Our Exit 284 is closer to the beach than any other I-95 exit. That may be our best kept secret as our six miles of oceanfront is also known as “Florida’s Peaceful Beach.” A day of relaxation can include sunning by the sea, strolling to a local restaurant or ice cream shop, enjoying chilled liquid refreshments, and enjoying rooftop views of the ocean while listening to live music.
Fishermen flock to our landmark Pier which is open every day of the year. The Pier exudes Flagler Beach history with fish stories all the way back to 1928. One half block away, our local Historical Museum is overflowing with Flagler Beach charm, facts, photographs, books and much more. The Museum also is home to our Chamber Visitor Center. Stop in to pick up maps, flyers, and personal recommendations of the many fun things to do around town.
You could start with a nature walk. Less than six blocks away is a wonderful walking trail on boardwalks over the salt water marsh at the Intracoastal Waterway. Indeed our pristine beach, native foliage, and distinctive wildlife have inspired local artwork. Be sure to view these creations on display at the Gallery of Local Art nestled between the fun and funky retail shops on South Central Avenue.
Play here. Sleep here. Eat here. Shop here. We welcome you -- and know you’ll also want to find your way back here.
